General information
The hike from Lechova Monastery back to the Amphitheatre is a slightly longer hike, but a very easy one.
First you go up along the road from the monastery into a coniferous forest with moss-covered stones. On the way you pass some meadows and vineyards and from a little further up you have a very nice view of the Lechova Monastery. You could also make a detour to the Lechova Cave, which is located a little above the monastery, but it is not accessible to tourists, because at the moment archaeological research is being carried out there. At a junction of the paths, where a wooden post that is part of a power line stands, the trail continues to the right. Nearby there is also a motorcross track, where sometimes tournaments take place. From the junction, the trail continues through the vineyards to Kryoneri in the valley. On the way you have a very nice view of the Gulf of Corinth. Towards the end, the path crosses a junction where it simply continues straight ahead. The rest is just relaxed easy downhill walking until the trail ends at the Amphitheatre.
