The football field was created in the year 1970, hosting the local football association AETOS. In the frame of the European rural development programme Leader+ the Sikyonion municipality will rebuild a new, more modern playground with artificial grass in the year 2022. This playground is absolutely necessary for Kryoneri’s youth, as it is no more allowed to have trainings in inadequate playgrounds without grass. And that’s why during the last years, the training for AETOS happens in Kiato.
