General information
Kryoneri has a vivid tradition in folklore dances. The Cultural Association of Kryoneri organizes traditional and folk dance classes throughout the year at the Polycentre. Also, they perform during the Festival of Traditional Dances, which takes place every July in the summer, as part of the Cultural Week of Kryoneri.
Greek traditional dances
There are seven dancing groups with up to 104 dancers, men and women, all club members. The dancers are mainly pupils from kindergarten, primary and secondary school. The Kryoneri dance groups participated in numerous cultural events in Corinth, during the summer, as well as in cultural exchanges outside the prefecture, throughout Greece and abroad.
